Inside ‘Britain’s most beautiful Wetherspoons’

Brits have been blown away by a stunning Whetherspoons that looks like a ‘hotel’ from the outside.

The pub chain, known for its sticky floors and cheap pints, often takes over historical landmarks that risk being demolished or turned into apartment blocks.

The Palladium, in Wales, is no exception. Originally built in the 1920s, the grade two listed building has two distintive domed towers each side – and looks like something from the Great Gatsby.

It first opened up as a theatre, and was primarily used as a cinema after World War Two – but since 200, it operates as one of the nation’s favourite boozers.

Much of the inside was restored to its former glory, in accordance to strict planning permission, paving way for britain’s ‘most beautifull’ Spoons.

Taking to TikTok, user HDL Travels went virial after showing off the impressive building – drenched in Art Deo features, patterned carpets, and chandeliers.

“The palladium features the original boxes and balconies, this was also a cinema and a bingo hall at one point before becoming the Wetherspoons,” the influencer said.

“The baroque architecture is absolutely stunning. This can be found in Llandudno, wales and is by far my fave Wetherspoons yet, a nice hidden gem!

Almost 200 viewers took to the comments section to express their thoughts, with many in-awe of the building. “I loved it there, especially the projections on the balconies,” one user raved.

Another agreed, commenting: “I’ve been in there when on holiday it’s a stunning building.”

A third added: ‘I still can’t believe this is [a] Wetherspoons. I thought it was a hotel lol,” while a fourth simply penned: “Wow, so cool!”
