British foodies praised the “best looking” fish and chips after a chippie owner showcased his huge portions on TikTok.
Rish ‘n’ Chips in Blackburn, Lancashire, left their hungry followers drooling after serving up a fresh meal for one lucky customer in a clip which has been viewed a staggering 7.4 million times.
“Give me 10 minutes,” owner Rish said after recieving the order for a large fish and chips. “All fish is cooked fresh, all chips are cooked fresh.”
After recording footage of the food sizzling in the fryers, Rish then proudly presents the fruits of his labour in a tray beaming from ear to ear.
“I love this guy’s attitude, he seems like such a genuinely nice bloke, fish and chips look banging as well,” gushed one TikTok user in response.
“Wow! That has to be the some of the best fish and chips I’ve seen!” hailed a second person. A third agreed: “Without a doubt, THE best looking fish and chips I’ve seen in a long time.”
A fourth praised: “Keep up the great work. Bringing communities together. Nothing does it better than food.” And a fifth said: “Guy looks proud of his work, and he should be that looks lovely.”
Rish later returned to his post to express his gratitude for the positive feedback. “Thank you for your kind words,” he said. “We take passion in serving everyone the best food.”

A large cod and chips at Rish ‘n’ Chips will set you back £10.55, with a regular portion priced £9.35. The shop also sells a variety of pies, sides and everything else you’d expect from an excellent chippy.
