Taking one item on the plane could help you avoid ‘travel chaos’ | Travel News | Travel

It’s no secret that if you’re flying during the school holidays, the airport can be chaotic. From long queues to even getting through the main entrance, to never-ending security lines, tensions can become high quite quickly, despite the fact that you’re excited for a holiday.

Even waiting for the baggage drop-off point can feel exhausting as you wait for other families to weigh their luggage, put the tag on for themselves, and get ever more frustrated.

Plus, the fact that adding a suitcase if you purchased just flights can cost a small fortune, so you may want to avoid that at all costs.

But one woman has shared that there’s one way to avoid all of this drama: do not pack a 22kg case and simply take hand luggage.

The thought of that may bring you out in a cold sweat; however, she showed off the perfect under-the-seat cabin bag that can fit around four days’ worth of clothes in it – possibly even more if you’re super savvy with your outfit choices.

Using ‘The Travel Hack’ cabin bag, @twinperspectives managed to avoid any additional travel fees, and she said that she “easily fitted” everything she needed for a four-day city break.

She packed outfits, a book, chargers, toiletries and more in the handy bag, and she had more space than she needed too – plus you can keep everything with you on the plane.

“It came with these really handy compartments,” she showed off, so everything can be packed in nicely.

It also had a top pocket for her “passport, purse, AirPods, things like that” so you don’t have to go scrambling around in the whole bag if you need something quickly.

She also explained that most budget airlines have restrictions of 40 x 20 x 25, and this bag came well within those restrictions, “even when stuffed full”.

She also shared that the backpack was comfortable to wear, thanks to the thick straps.

When she took it on the plane, she was really pleased to find that “it worked, it fitted under the seat”.

In the comments, someone asked her about toiletries, writing: “I thought that there was a limit on the amount of liquid you can carry on. How did it work with your toiletries?”

Someone responded: “Not true. The limit is 10 items of no more than 100ml. 1 litre max”. Another added: “Remember you are only allowed 100ml each of liquid shampoo, deodorant, suntan lotion, etc. You need to take them out at security”.

Another asked: “Where’s the shoes? I take far too many”. The TikToker responded: “I wore the same pair of sandals! Sadly, my shoes had to volunteer as tribute when it came to packing lightly”.

The ‘Travel Hack’ Bag can be purchased for £34.95 on Amazon.
