We’ve all been there, cooking our favourite meals, when suddenly we notice the grimy mess our hob has become.
But fear not – it can be cleaned easily, according to one TikTok cleaning guru.
Despite the fact that sometimes, no matter how hard you scrub, the stains just won’t budge. Emma, who posts on social media as @cleanqueen95, said there’s a miracle product that worked wonders for her.
She claimed: “Honestly, it gets like this every time I use it. At least cleaning it is satisfying.” She took some of The Pink Stuff cleaner, put it on a sponge and got to work on her grimy, greasy hob.
At first, it seemed as though the stains were not lifting thanks to the white colour of the hob, but the more scrubbing she did, the better it began to look.
She scrubbed and scrubbed, then the grime came off. There was foaming and looked like it was ready to be wiped.
But Emma just squeezed the sponge and carried on cleaning the hob.
According to Nastah Industries, however, Emma was doing something incorrectly in her video, as they stated: “You should wear gloves when doing the household chores.”
But why? They protect your hands, can increase your grip, limit the possibility of infection, avoid contact with gross things, and it also protects your nails from softening.
Emma then wiped around each part of the hob, before finishing the cleaning off with a tea towel, making the hob look as good as new. People were amazed at the results she’d managed to get in less than a minute of scrubbing, and only with one product.
The Pink Stuff commented on her video, saying: “Wow! What an awesome before and after.” Someone else hailed the product as “the best on the market”.
On the Pink Stuff’s website, it states: “The Pink Stuff Miracle Cleaning Paste is perfect for cleaning dirt, grime and stains on saucepans, cooker tops, sinks, uPVC, barbecues, ceramic tiles, glass, showers, garden furniture, paintwork, boats and brass… the list is endless.”
They added: “Its natural formulation has been developed to provide high performance without the need for harsh chemicals.”
But how do you use it properly? They recommended you apply using a soft cloth or a sponge. Rub gently before rinsing off with hot water. Be careful not to apply too much pressure as this could result in scratched surfaces.
“Do not allow to dry. Be especially carefully with glass, highly polished steel surfaces and ceramic hobs. If in doubt always test first on an inconspicuous area. Do not use on hot or warm surfaces. Replace lid after use,” they added.
The paste can be purchased for just £1.50 from all major retailers.
