A woman in Miami has gone viral after sharing an ‘insane’ feature about her apartment building that makes her never want to move – and viewers are just as impressed.
Sydney Schiffer is a 26-year-old influencer currently living in Miami, Florida. She has a TikTok following of over 940,000 people, where she’s often seen posting beauty and lifestyle videos.
However, in one video posted on March 1, Sydney decided to show off her favourite feature about her apartment building, which viewers quickly named a genius feature that more buildings should adapt.
“The best feature to my apartment building – look at this,” she said at the start of the video, before opening a seemingly ordinary door in her building.
She then showed what’s behind the door, only to reveal a fully stocked mini supermarket filled with pantry essentials, snacks, and even produce.
“I want to make cookies, but I was out of butter and milk,” Sydney told the four million viewers before opening the door to the fridge and taking out a block of butter and the milk.
She then filmed around the small ‘store’ that was filled with anything you’d might need, such as chips, chocolate, popcorn, juice and other drinks, condiments, and anything you’d might want when the midnight munchies hit.
They also have common items that people often run out of, including milk, bread, butter, cereal, coffee, and even household items like toiletries and pet food.
“It has anything you could ever need, right downstairs,” she said.
The video then shows the check out process, where she used a self-check out scanner to scan her items before paying, sharing in the comments that the room is filled with video cameras and that you have to check-out your items and them press a button before being let out.
“The best idea anyone has ever had for an apartment building. I never want to leave. Can I live here forever?” she said at the end of the video.
People quickly took to the comments to share their amazement of the room, with many saying they wish they had something similar in their own apartment buildings. One person called the shop ‘life-changing’ while another viewer dubbed it as ‘genius’.
While many others shared their amazement at the pantry store, others shared the potential robbery risks and how it’s most likely more expensive than grocery stores.
“You’re living in a high-trust area,” one person wrote, while another said: “Would be clutch but I just know that stuff is marked up at least twice the average price.”
