
Dinosaurs have an endless appeal, fascinating children and adults alike with their fearsome sizes and sheer prehistoric mystery. This autumn, visitors can get up close to lifelike ancient beasts in an immersive experience designed for all ages.
Jurassic World: The Experience at Battersea Power Station in London opened last spring and has already welcomed more than 180,000 visitors. Its run has now been extended until 4 January 2026, with a new batch of tickets released for peak dates including October half-term and the Christmas holidays. Visitors can also take advantage of discounted midweek tickets in September, with entry from £18 for children and £23 for adults after 2pm on weekdays.
Jurassic World: The Experience is an immersive, interactive attraction where visitors can explore lifelike recreations of dinosaurs and themed environments inspired by the Jurassic Park films.
Dino lovers of all ages will board the ferry to Isla Nublar and pass through the iconic towering gates of Jurassic World. With so much to see and do, guests can walk beneath the shadow of a majestic Brachiosaurus, come face to face with fierce Velociraptors, venture into the Valley of the Gyrospheres or even take a selfie with a baby dinosaur.
The event culminates with the ultimate heart-pounding moment – a close encounter with the most legendary predator of them all… the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex.
Set across two floors, the living exhibition takes around an hour to explore. Housed inside historic Grade II London landmark, Jurassic world is open 10 am–4 pm Monday–Thursday, 10 am–7 pm Friday–Saturday, 10 am–5 pm Sunday, wirth extended hours during school holidays.
With the latest release of tickets expected to sell quickly, organisers are encouraging visitors to book early to secure their spot among the prehistoric giants. Students can also now enjoy 35% off tickets on weekdays by showing a valid student ID at the box office.
If Jurassic World: The Experience isn’t quite right, fans of everything Mesozoic could pay a visit to The Lost Kingdom at Paulton’s Park. The attraction offers a range of prehistoric rides including Flight of the Pterosaur and the Velociraptor, as well as family-friendly options like the Dino Chase and the Boulder Dash ride.
For a more interactive experience, Andy’s Adventure Dinosaur Dig at Alton Towers lets explorers discover fossils and learn more about their favourite creatures.
As one of the most popular attractions at Battersea Power Station, Jurassic World: The Experience has received a range of positive reviews on Tripadvisor.
One visitors called it a “Roarsome success,” adding: “The exhibition is very carefully designed and there is a lot of attention paid to minor details to ensure a really excellent immersive experience. It is well worth a visit because it is informative and exciting.”
Another added: “Super fun experience!!! Educational and exciting at the same time. Every effort was made to really live an experience. As a fan of the movies really a recommendation. Also for adult entertaining.”
A third agreed, saying: “Amazing brilliant and I highly recommend feels like your in movies can’t fault this if come again and the staff never break character and great for all ages and fans.”
However, some visitors had some reservations. One said: “It was a good fun experience, the kids enjoyed it which was the main thing, but it could have been a bit longer for the money (£130 for 4 tickets, for 45 minutes). Expected there to be a little more to it.” Another added: “The dinosaurs, set and design is very well done, but not much else once your child is over the awe of the dinosaur.”
A family who were super impressed with the experience said it “blew their minds,” adding “Jurassic World:The Exhibition is an unforgettable, family-friendly adventure that brings the magic of the movies to life!”
