The company used data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) to help them with their research.
1. Ivy
The experts said: “Ivy is the most popular autumn-inspired baby girl name in the UK, with 2,195 baby girls born with the name in 2022 – higher than any other autumn-themed name on the list.
“A resilient and evergreen plant that thrives in many environments, Ivy evokes lush greenery that remains vibrant as autumn sets in.”
This name also reflects nature’s enduring beauty, symbolising strength and adaptability.
3. Sienna
Meaning “reddish-brown”, Sienna mirrors the rich, earthy tones which come with autumn.
The experts said: “This name brings to mind fallen leaves, warm fires, and the comforting hues that define the season, evoking a sense of cosiness.”
4. Bonnie
Bonne is the fourth most popular autumn-themed baby girl name in the UK, with 1,148 baby girls born with the name in 2022.
The pros noted: “Meaning ‘pretty’ or ‘beautiful’, Bonnie evokes the beauty of autumn, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful seasons in the world, with its bright, cheerful colours, as the leaves turn from green to red and gold.”
