Melania Trump’s new documentary was savaged in a brutal hot mic moment from the premiere’s red carpet. Two photographers, who could be heard rustling papers containing details of the guests expected at last night’s event at the rebranded Trump Kennedy Centre (January 29), revealed the names of those on the guest list who had failed to turn up.

One of the photographers said: “They didn’t show on the red carpet. Kari Lake, she didn’t show. Bret Baier, Kellyanne Conway, Riley Gaines, Kash Patel didn’t show… [Kristi] Noem didn’t show up. [Pam] Bondi didn’t show, weird. Sean Duffy didn’t show. [Peter] Navarro… [laughs].”

Even Trump’s children didn’t show up to the event. While Donald Trump Jr. and his father did attend in-person, Barron Trump was absent.

It comes after another blow for Melania, after two thirds of her movie crew allegedly asked not to be credited for their work on the film.

Crew members told Rolling Stone: “Unfortunately, if it does flop, I would really feel great about it.”

Another said they regretted their work on the movie, admitting: “I’m much more alarmed now than I was a year ago.”

However, Melania herself was branded “friendly” and “totally nice”. She reportedly earned $28million from the film’s licensing deal, as Amazon MGM Studios paid $40million for the rights and spent a further $35million marketing the movie.

The film has been rolled out to more than 100 cinemas in Britain – but it remains to be seen how long it will last.
