SAS Rogue Heroes fans will not believe one of the stars is appearing in a new film based on The Sun editor Albert Lamb, commonly known as Larry.

Ink is the name of the film, and some first-look images have been revealed of actor Jack O’Connell as Larry.

Filming has been taking place across London, with the drama also starring The Brutalist’s Guy Pearce and The Crown’s Claire Foy.

Ink has been described as “an explosive cinematic rollercoaster about a group of visionaries and misfits who had an idea for a new kind of news.

“One that would give the people what they want and would change the face of the world we live in today.”

Pearce will star as Rupert Murdoch and Foy as Jules Davies.

Studiocanal will release the film in cinemas in the UK and Ireland.

The drama has been produced by Academy and BAFTA award-winning Danny Boyle, known for 28 Years Later and Slumdog Millionare.

Larry Lamb actor Jack O’Connell is known for playing Paddy Mayne in SAS Rogue Heroes, as well as James Cook in Skins.

Fans have already shared their thoughts on the upcoming film, with Clockxx saying on X: “Can’t wait to see all his new work, he’s the best.”

Over on Reddit, willsho67 shared: “Danny Boyle and an excellent cast! This has the potential to be great!”

Speaking of O’Connell, YemethTheSorcerer added: “Absolutely love that actor, glad he got more limelight with Sinners. He excels in Money Monster and Godless.”

Ms_Meercat agreed: “Jack O’Connell for me has become one of those actors that’ll make me turn on a film for him.

“Skins was already amazing but then Eden Lake, Money Monster, Sinners,’71, Godless…”

St1802015 added: “As no one else has said it, he’s great in SAS: Rogue Heroes as well, which itself is absolutely excellent.”
