Royal fans were delighted this week after Princess Kate made a new appearance in Southport. The Princess of Wales joined her husband, the Prince of Wales, as they visited the schools of the girls who were killed in the Southport attack last year.
William and Kate met the parents of Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, Bebe King, six, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, on Tuesday as they were welcomed by pupils at two schools where the girls attended. The future Queen looked chic in a grey and pink outfit consisting of a grey maxi coat by Jigsaw, grey heeled pumps, and a pair of smart trousers that were colour-matched.
She finished the look with a pink silk blouse by Burberry and a taupe handbag.
Royal fans were impressed with Kate’s look and took to social media to praise her sartorial choice.
One user wrote on Instagram: “This pink blouse adds a gentle touch of softness. And it’s charming.”
A second one said: ” love this, pink and gray is one of my favorite combinations! I would love to have her blouse!”
A third one added: “She has been knocking the fall styles out of the park!”
A fourth one commented: “I really do like this look, especially the sweet, subtle way of wearing pink to honour the little girls who were murdered.”
The girls were killed in the attack at the Taylor Swift-themed dance class on July 29 last year.
Speaking afterwards, Bebe’s mother Lauren, 42, said: “It meant everything. It was really special.
“I think we’re really grateful anyway how Bebe’s been honoured so much in this school, and seeing the prince and princess support that and be here has been just amazing.”
