She claimed that they use “constant touch, tie-signs, strokes and the ‘look of love’ facial expression”, as well as a “a strong tendency to use romantic gestures and rituals“.
Some of Meghan and Harry’s notable touch moments include their kiss at the Invictus Games Opening Ceremony in April 2022, and more recently their hand holding at Westminster Hall during the coffin carrying of the late Queen Elizabeth II in September.
Judi also claimed they take “complete comfort in reminding the public about their love verbally”.
According to the expert, William and Kate also display a “look of love” expression and even mirror each others’ gestures.
However, they may be less inclined to show overt displays of affection due to their position in the Royal Family.
She said: “William and Kate have always had a very powerful trait of subliminal mirroring, which defines like-minded thinking, mutual respect and emotional closeness and understanding.
“As high-rank royals they also tend to use a sparing amount of PDAs but the ‘look of love’ on their facial expressions and some of the playfulness and tender touches we see from them suggest the strongest of bonds.”
