Tuesdays are the perfect opportunity for beauty fans to shop as Boots drops its much-loved £10 sale. This week, we have spotted this French skincare gem that’s been praised by nearly 700 shoppers for its anti-wrinkle efficacy.
It’s the RoC Retinol Correxion Wrinkle Correct Daily Moisturiser SPF30, a hydrating day cream that aims to reduce deep-set wrinkles in just eight weeks. Formulated with a mild form of pure RoC Retinol and nourishing ingredients, the face cream has been hailed as a “wonder for mature skin” – and it’s now reduced from £32.99 to £10.
This clinically proven, anti-wrinkle moisturiser works throughout the day to hydrate and fight signs of ageing. Some shoppers claim their skin was left softer, visibly smoother, and healthier-looking after trying it.
With broad spectrum SPF30, it helps protect your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays to prevent future damage and premature ageing. As most retinol products can make your skin sensitive to UV rays, it’s advisable to use them at night, but RoC’s patented retinol complex claims to be gentle enough for daily use. The formula works to “accelerate the removal of old, dull skin cells on the surface to reveal fresh, new ones”.
One shopper explained why the Retinol Correxion Wrinkle Correct Daily Moisturiser is her go-to: “I’ve used this product for 20 years and it does what it says, my skin is great and much younger-looking than if I used anything else, I would always recommend it.”
Another has been closely monitoring her skin conditions since using the cream and reported: “I think this might be a good one, it’s looking good so far. A wrinkle has disappeared under my eye.”
But some find the texture too greasy, with one explaining: “I love the night version of this cream but this day cream is very greasy, after five minutes of applying, my whole face is like an oil slick. It also pills with the slightest of touch, which makes applying makeup on top impossible.”
Another added: “I found it quite thick and heavy, sat on my skin and not really noticed any change in my skin tone. I will keep going with it, it has no adverse effects.”
Amazon also reduced the price of RoC’s Retinol Correxion Wrinkle Correct Daily Moisturiser SPF30 but it’s not as cheap as the price at Boots, which is £10 online until stock lasts.
L’Oreal Paris Revitalift SPF Anti-Ageing + Firming Pro Retinol Day Cream SPF30 could be another option and it’s 50% off at Boots, dropping from £14.99 to £7.49. For those who want to give their skin a major boost, try Medik8’s R-Retinoate Day & Night Cream, a luxurious 3-in-1 formula that is proven to be eight times more powerful than standard retinol, costing £149.
