Prime Video has confirmed that a much-awaited film featuring an all-star cast will arrive on its platform imminently.

Helmed by Luca Guadagnino, the picture enjoyed its theatrical debut across America in October.

Critics lavished praise upon Julia Roberts’ and Andrew Garfield’s compelling portrayals at the time.

The psychological thriller centres on Alma Imhoff (Roberts), a philosophy lecturer at Yale University who becomes embroiled in a controversy involving both a student and a fellow academic.

Garfield portrays Henrik “Hank” Gibson, Alma’s academic peer and trusted confidant who faces allegations of misconduct.

The production in question is After the Hunt, which arrives on Prime Video on November 20.

Film Updates broke the news on X, prompting enthusiasts to rush to the comments section with their reactions.

Sleeperbloke remarked: “I really enjoyed this one. My friend and I were the only ones in the cinema. Robert’s was terrific – as was Garfield.”

Alex Moran commented: “Can’t wait to finally watch this.”

On Rotten Tomatoes, Diana M revealed: “It was an engaging thriller that left you with so many questions. Performances by all was stellar. Loved the rather unusual filming techniques.”

David B proclaimed it “pure genius and good”, whilst Williams M noted: “The writing in this movie, particularly the dialogue, will never go unnoticed.

“The cinematography is so human, and so intimate. Truly perfect combo or writing, directing and acting.”

The production has recently secured a Visionary Tribute at the Gotham Independent Film Awards. Ayo Edebiri has taken on the role of Margaret “Maggie” Resnick, a young philosophy student.

Originally, the part was set to be played by Zendaya, but it was reported that she had to drop out.
