Princess Catherine is no stranger to a pussybow blouse, with multiple in her wadrobe. Yesterday, she rewore one of her most elegant wardrobe staples during yesterday’s visit to Wales ahead of St. David’s Day. The royal layered her Alexander McQueen coat over the same silk Me+Em design she was first seen wearing on an outing in January.

This time, however, the styling felt more deliberate and defined. Earlier in the year, she allowed the scarf ties to fall loose for a softer, more fluid finish. While on Thursday, she fastened them into a sharp pussybow.

Cut from silk, the sleeveless blouse is versatile, with a scarf neckline that can be styled multiple ways. The deep ruby tone is also pretty enough to add a pop of colour to an outfit without being overpowering. The shirt is made from 100% matte silk that is designed to feel lightweight. It also has a straight body fit, with a regular length falling around the waistline, and a flattering but modest high neckline.

The good news is that we’ve spotted the shirt in the brand’s end-of-season sale, with selected sizes from 8 to 16 still available. A similar style in a bold red hue is also stocked in a wider size range, reduced from £250 to £100 – a 60% saving.
