The Princess of Wales and her sister-in-law Meghan Markle unite over their stunning taste in jewellery. Princess Kate, 42, may live on the grounds of Windsor Castle, while Meghan, 43, resides in Montecito, California, but the two women share the same taste in stepping out in items that carry a sentimental meaning when representing the Royal Family.

Not only have they been spotted wearing pieces of jewellery that pay tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana, but they have also chosen designs honouring their children. The Monica Vinader Birthstone necklaces are timeless and can be worn to represent your birthday or a loved one.

There are 12 different gemstones to choose from, encased in a pendant sitting on either a silver or gold chain. You can buy them here now for £98 if you click on this link.

Princess Kate’s birthday is in January which means she would choose the Red Garnet stone. Monica Vinader describes it as the “stone of commitment”.

She added: “Red garnet is said to bring loyalty and trust. Loved for its deep hue, the stone has been hand-cut to enhance its brilliance. Add a complimentary engraving to the reverse for a unique touch.’

Both Kate and Meghan would love them as they are classy and elegant and donned similar looks in the past.

Princess Kate was first spotted wearing the British brand back in 2019 and has continued to re-wear the pieces time and time again instead of some of her own jewels that cost millions.

The brand also offers a stunning matching Birthstone bracelet which comes at £88 and you can buy it here.

Monica Vinader promotes responsible manufacturing and sustainability. Last year Queen Camilla presented the designer with an award for her efforts towards the environment.

The British label not only uses 100% recycled gold and silver while making pledges for their future production but over half of their gemstones can be traced back to their original source.

They also offer a circular approach to their collections, thanks to timeless designs that encourage customers to invest and keep them for a lifetime.

Back in November, Princess Kate also sported the stunning Nura Pearl Necklace at the Royal Albert Hall.

Kate beamed from ear to ear as she walked alongside her husband. If you want her exact look which is £126, you can buy it here.

It is described as: “A lustrous freshwater pearl, ready to elegantly drape from your favourite huggie or chain. Crafted in 18k gold vermeil, this one’s heirloom-worthy.”
