While we can all have our moments of being a little snarky and mean, especially on a bad day, one Zodiac sign has been crowned as the meanest of them all. Whether it’s through brutal honesty, emotional detachment or a lack of filter, this star sign is apparently the worst for leaving people with hurt feelings.
According to Joanne Jones, an astrologer from Trusted Psychics, the crown for the “worst” zodiac sign goes to none other than Capricorn. Born between December 21 and January 19 and represented by the sea goat, Capricorns are known for their cool and calm exterior. However, according to Joanne, that can hide a darker, more cutting streak inside.
She said: “Capricorns are often the quiet ones in the room, sitting back and observing everything.
“They can seem detached, almost aloof, and then suddenly, they’ll make a remark that’s so sharp it leaves everyone speechless. It’s rarely intentional cruelty, but it can be incredibly hurtful.”
This mixture of reservedness and sharpness makes Capricorns hard to predict and difficult to navigate.
Joanne said: “They tend to hide their emotions until they can’t anymore. Then, when something tips them over the edge, it all comes out in one hit and it’s usually not pretty.”
The nature of Capricorns can easily be mistaken for arrogance, but it frequently stems from self-doubt.
She said: “They hold themselves to impossibly high standards.
“When they see others being less disciplined or focused, they can be harsh because they expect everyone to operate at their level. It’s not that they don’t care – it’s that they think tough love is the best kind of love.”
It’s not all bad news however. If Capricorns can balance their strong drive with empathy, they can become “the most dependable, successful people you’ll ever meet”, according to Joanne.
“They just need to remember that kindness and vulnerability don’t make them weak. They make them human.”
