If there’s one thing that makes December evenings even cosier, it’s slipping into a festive pair of pyjamas. While there’s plenty on the market, Next has nailed it with its matching family Christmas sets this year. Made from 100% cotton, they’re soft, breathable, and come in sizes for everyone in the house — even the dog.
The collection includes matching styles for men, women, kids, babies, and pets, with prices starting from £13. The PJs come in a neutral cream check that has tiny fir trees, a red and white check, and a red check, although the red check doesn’t have a matching option for canine family members.
With the long sleeves and button-up tops, the designs have that classic festive feel. Since they’re made entirely from cotton, they should feel soft straight out of the bag and are easy to care for, all you need to do is just throw them in the wash and they’re ready for another round of lounging.
The bottoms have a comfy elasticated waistband, and the cut is relaxed rather than clingy, which is ideal for those post-Christmas-dinner naps on the sofa. The neutral check, and red and white check come in regular and tall fit for women and in sizes 6 to 24, XS to 3XL in the men’s, and nine months to 16 years in the children’s sizing. The dog’s onesie also comes in multiple sizes for different breeds. The baby sleepsuit was only available in limited sizes at the time of writing.
There aren’t reviews yet for these particular pyjamas, but other Next 100% cotton sets have rave feedback from shoppers. One person wrote about a similar set: “Excellent quality, very comfortable.” And another customer said about a similar pair was that it was a “great fit.”
One downside is that the only pattern that includes everyone – dogs, kids and adults – is the neutral check with little trees, the other fabric colourways exclude four-legged friends and babies.
