When people think of Nostradamus – the 16th century prophet and reputed seer who could allegedly glimpse into the future and return with eerily precise predictions – one imagines an all-knowing, elderly man who accumulated his supernatural wisdom over many decades.
It’s surprising then, to encounter his contemporary equivalent, dubbed the ‘Living Nostradamus’ – a 39-year-old Brazilian mystic who looks as though he’d fit perfectly within the pages of a fashion magazine.
However, what Athos Salomé may lack in years spent on earth engaged in ancient wisdom-gathering, he compensates for with shockingly accurate forecasts, or so he claims.
The parapsychologist says he has an impeccable record of accurately predicting major global events, including the devastating Covid-19 pandemic and the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Now, in his list of unnerving predictions for 2026, the Brazilian oracle anticipates significant upheavals and world-altering events to occur – including one right now in March, reports the Mirror.

The heavens above will unleash chaos
Speaking to The Express, Salomé disclosed a colossal solar storm – defined by NASA as “a sudden explosion of particles, energy, magnetic fields, and material blasted into the solar system by the Sun” – is forecasted to hit between March 12 and 15.
The resulting coronal mass ejections (CMEs) or solar flares could potentially lead to widespread global power outages and may also damage vulnerable electrical systems worldwide.
In a conversation with UNILAD, Salomé revealed the one predicted event in 2026 that he is “most scared” about is catastrophic solar storms.
Speaking to the publication, Salomé said his prophecy is founded on ‘consistent evidence’. The new-age seer said: “My direct and objective perspective is as follows: Solar storms now seem like the most plausible scenario to have such immediate impact on daily life, and backed by robust science.
“This deserves full focus. Not out of fear, but rather due to measurable signals in synchrony with potential power cuts, communication failures and technological disruptions in affected regions.”
The Brazilian psychic revealed that solar activity arrives “swiftly, without much warning”, which is why he regards it as “one of the most sensitive and high-stakes junctures for 2026”, unlike the geopolitical tensions and global instability, economic and otherwise, that he has predicted, which tend to develop in gradual and protracted cycles.

The most significant solar storm to ever strike Earth was the Carrington Event in September 1859, just months before the solar maximum of 1860 in solar cycle 10.
The consequences of the Carrington Event on Earth were catastrophic, according to NASA Science, as telegraph systems went haywire and auroral displays – typically confined to the polar latitudes – were shockingly visible in the tropics.
A solar storm on the Carrington Event’s scale in 2026 could trigger an internet apocalypse, leaving vast numbers of people and businesses offline.
According to BBC Sky At Night Magazine, such an occurrence would probably prompt global air traffic restrictions and satellite failures, which consequently would prevent scientists from monitoring the event. Worldwide blackouts – and all the turmoil they would unleash – would probably ensue rapidly, not to mention the trillions in losses the world’s economies would probably sustain.
But it’s not merely the celestial realm that Salomé has cautioned us about for 2026.

Amid a period of political and global strife, the modern mystic has warned two major regions may become the new battlegrounds for proxy conflicts between the world’s leading superpowers and their adversaries.
In his list of 10 predictions for 2026 shared with The Express, Salomé has forecast that the wider Sahel region in Africa as well as the Arctic may emerge as the unlikely battlegrounds which descend into full-scale wars.
The parapsychologist believes Northern Niger and the broader Sahel region will become a critical flashpoint, due to the swift rise of extremist groups in the area, which may consequently lead to indirect confrontations between global powers competing for control of the region following the withdrawal of Western troops. Another of his principal geopolitical concerns is Russia‘s Arctic ambitions.
The modern-day prophet warns that despite its war focus, the Kremlin is positioning advanced missile systems at strategic Arctic bases.
As the ice retreats, new shipping routes and energy reserves will become accessible, dramatically increasing the likelihood of direct confrontations between Russia and NATO over territory and resources in 2026.

Chilling Iran-Israel prophecy for 2026
In fact, it appears some of his 2026 prophecies are well on their way to being realised, with the prophet having predicted a sharp escalation in Iran-Israel tensions – though the world got a jump on that forecasted timeline.
Salomé warned that Iran’s uranium enrichment and Israel’s potential military preparations could trigger a new and intense period of regional instability, specifically around the second quarter of 2026.
The chilling prediction is ringing truer than ever, as Iran is currently embroiled in a deadly conflict with Israel and USA, with much of the Middle East suffering collateral damage.
Other prophecies for this year include a ‘major event’ in the Royal Family that’s coming very soon according to the ‘Living Nostradamus’, an economic crisis in Poland, as well as the fall of the Dollar.
