Age gap couple Tiffany and Jim say they have faced criticism over their 42-year age difference. Despite this Tiffany insists there are perks to dating older men compared to those her own age. The duo connected in a retirement community when content creator Tiffany invited 79-year-old Jim to feature in one of her TikTok videos.
Despite accusations of being a gold digger, Tiffany attributes their connection to Jim’s sense of humour. Chicago native Jim views dating a younger woman as an “older man’s jewel”.
In an interview with Love Don’t Judge, he remarked: “I saw her and I thought: ‘Is this the new Marilyn Monroe?’ The Kennedy’s had Marilyn and I have Tiff.”
Tiffany reveals they maintain an “open relationship,” allowing Jim to see other women while she films with other men, yet she’s confident in his loyalty to her. She expressed: “I formed an attraction to him after he started doing the role plays with me because he was so good at doing them. I was like: ‘This guy is so funny,’ we just have a really nice bond. I really do connect with him.”
Preferring the company of older men, Tiffany feels no need to “prove herself” and despite facing harsh online backlash and being labelled a “gold digger”, the pair remain unfazed, reports the Mirror.
She explained: “When I’m with guys who are my age or even younger than me, they’re just go, go, go, go and they’re just love-bombing me and it’s just too much. So when I’m with older men it’s a whole different ball game. I love that I don’t feel like I have to prove myself.
“We get a lot of hate on the internet and they will tell me that a gold-digger will say that he’s my dad, that I’m using him for viewers. I don’t really feed into it because at the end of the day he is happy, and that’s what matters.”
Tiffany’s companions expressed their worries about the unconventional relationship. Her friend Samantha admitted she was initially “shocked” by the significant age difference, commenting: “It is crazy, honestly, I don’t even understand.”
Another friend, Ryan, voiced concern over how Tiffany would cope if Jim passed away.
In response to these concerns, Tiffany stated: “I would be really sad. I don’t really think about it because all that matters is that he is happy during his last final days, and I bring him so much joy so it is worth it.”
When quizzed about Tiffany’s career filming with other men, Jim shared: “It took a little getting used to,” while revealing his fears of losing her if he doesn’t support her career choices, even though it “pains his heart” to see her work with them. With an awareness of his advancing years and having made financial arrangements for Tiffany through a life insurance policy.
Jim emphasises the importance of making the most of life, saying: “live your life while you can” because “time is more valuable than money”.
