Mercury Retrograde can be a time feared by people – with some believing it’s linked to things like communication break downs and technology going wild.
What’s more, some are so fearful of the astrological event that they won’t sign contracts when it occurs because they’re concerned that something bad will happen.
From November 25 until December 15, Mercury is in Retrograde in the sign Sagittarius. Some see this as a “test” from the universe that you need to “pass” – but it’s going to be very tempting to do all the wrong things.
Haley Comet shared “exactly how you can pass this test from the universe”, joking that it’s “time to cram” if you want to be successful.
She said: “This Mercury Retrograde will be concentrated around the sign Sagittarius, which is [focused] around academia, philosophy, travelling, going to new places, learning new things, yet Mercury Retrograde is a time around contemplating and reflecting on the past – not to get stuck there.”
Haley warned, however, that life will be checking you have “truly learned your lesson”, stating: “For you to graduate to the next grade of your life here in life school, there is a need to ensure that you have integrated all the material of the coursework you have already embarked upon”.
She shared there may be things that “tempt you” to return back to a stage of life you’ve already been at – but to prove you’ve properly matured, she recommends resisting these temptations and moving forward.
Haley said: “So you could get a text from your ex, you can get an invitation from your old boss to come and work for them again – you could even be tempted with old behaviours that you’ve grown out of, but there is a temptation to slip back into who it was that you were prior”.
“All” of these things could happen in the coming week and may have already happened to you, and it’s about how you react that will see you pass or fail the test.
“Have you integrated that wisdom? Are you ready for some new themes?” Haley asked.
“Until we have learned our lesson, the theme will just show up over and over and over again. It’ll just have different faces, it’ll be different bosses, it will look different, but the same core theme will show up”, she explained.
Haley concluded her video by reiterating that “the universe wants you to pass the test”, and to “advance to the next grade”.
“But do you want to? That’s what this Mercury Retrograde is all about”, she said.
In the comments, someone wrote: “Leave me alone it’s my season!! Leave the Sagittarius’ alone!”
Another penned: “Noooo I don’t want the same lesson with different people it was hell the first time”.
Others were left fuming that their “birthday is in the retrograde”, wondering whether they’d have a rough day because of it.
