Strip your bed

The bicarbonate of soda works by absorbing moisture and neutralising any unpleasant smells, leaving your mattress feeling fresh and clean. This not only prolongs the lifespan of your mattress but also promotes a more inviting environment for a superior night’s sleep.

Tackle stains

Simply combine three tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda with one cup of warm water and a few drops of washing-up liquid. Dab the stain gently rather than scrubbing it, as applying too much force can push the stain deeper into the delicate fibres.

Thorough vacuuming

Attach a small brush or upholstery tool to your vacuum cleaner and gently sweep over the mattress surface, focusing particularly on seams, edges and creases.
