The cooler weather can often leave skin dry and patchy. But Lisa Snowdon has found a way to keep the complexion looking radiant and hydrated this autumn. In a recent post on social media, the TV presenter shared her morning routine using a new product from skincare brand Nip+Fab.

It’s the Ceramide Fix Base + Build Moisture Milk, priced at £29.95 on LookFantastic. She has been using the item as part of her daily regime and it seems to be her secret for hydrated, glowing skin. Described as a toner-serum hybrid, the product is designed to help shoppers maintain a well-functioning skin barrier and improve protection against environmental aggressors. To Lisa, it’s a perfect base for makeup.

Calling it a “next-generation toner”, Lisa shared: “It’s a gorgeous milky texture that cushions the skin in an extra blanket of barrier, boosting the skin’s natural ability to protect itself from the inside out. This is a hybrid toner-serum that really locks in that moisture. It’s the ultimate base for makeup.

“As always, Nip+Fab has included some incredible ingredients. You’ve got the ceramides in there that strengthen the skin’s barrier. Ecotoin, which helps to protect from environmental stress. Biotin really locks in that moisture and niacinamide to calm and soothe any redness. Always finish with a spritz of Peptide Fix, a two-in-one, tone and top up mist of SPF50.”

Other than Nip+Fab, Byoma’s Hydrating Milky Toner, priced at £12 and available at SpaceNK, features polyglutamic acid and cica to lock in moisture across the layers of skin, which works perfectly for those with dry skin.

Elsehwere, leading Korean skincare brand Laneige’s Cream Skin Cerapeptide Toner and Moisturiser, available at Cult Beauty for £29.50, is another two-in-one skincare product loved by shoppers who seek intense hydration and skin barrier protection.

On LookFantastic’s website, the Nip+Fab Ceramide Fix Milk has earned glowing reviews from five-star shoppers. One person commented: “I’ve been using it for three weeks and my skin is softer, smoother, and healthier. I’ve been less oily, less spotty, and generally bouncier and less tired.”

Another customer used it along with the Nip+Fab Peptide Fix Finishing Oil, sharing: “This felt lovely and light going on. I thought at first it was a bit sticky but within a couple of minutes, the stickiness was gone. I think my skin looks well hydrated after this, and then I use the finishing oil on top.”

A 62-year-old shopper recently swapped their skincare products to Nip+Fab. They found the milk left their skin dry when used on its own but better when coupled with other products. “I am gradually working my way through the Nip + Fab range. This month it’s the turn of Ceramide Fix Base Build Moisture Milk, previously I was using the SPF30 moisturiser,” she explained.

“My face feels a little drier once I have applied it than it did with the SPF, but coupled with the Vitamin C serum and then the Replenishing Oil, it’s absolutely lovely. My skin feels soft and plump. Finally, at the age of 62, I think I might have found my go-to range instead of swapping every time, hoping for a miracle.”

One customer loved the hybrid formula, but left a four-star review on its performance: “I haven’t noticed any dramatic difference in my skin yet since using it, but equally I’ve experienced no irritation or redness either, and as it’s a toner-and-serum-in-one it saves a little time.”
