Marks and Spencer has us well and truly in the holiday spirit with its new M&S Food advert. Starring Dawn French, the advert highlights the selection of festive food on offer at the retailer for Christmas – but it’s the comedian’s outfit fashion fans have been eyeing up.
In the first of a six-part ad series, an exhausted French woman finds herself already hum-bugging over festivities until her fairy friend steps in to help transform her home and outfit into something more party-appropriate. In the blink of an eye, the 67-year-old goes from wearing a pair of checked pyjamas to a glitzy dress fit for a Christmas party.
