To be pushing 100 and still directing Hollywood movies is a real feat for a cinematic icon.

What could be Clint Eastwood’s final film is set to release in UK cinemas this Friday and Express.co.uk can confirm it’s one of the 94-year-old’s best in recent years in our review here.

Juror No 2 stars Nicholas Hoult as the titular character who, when serving on a murder trial jury, realises he is responsible for the victim’s death.

Ahead of the movie’s debut, Warner Bros has released a special featurette including rare new footage of Eastwood as he directs his actors on set.

Alongside these latest clips, the movie’s stars appear as talking heads, praising his talents and work ethic.

Hoult said: “If Clint Eastwood says, ‘Do you want to be in a movie?’, ‘Yes’ is the answer. I kind of pinch myself each day because Clint Eastwood is truly an icon of cinema. I feel so fortunate to get to spend time with him and watch how he works.”

Meanwhile, JK Simmons chimed in, “Working with Clint is every actor’s dream”, and Kiefer Sutherland added. “He’s an actor’s director. He has a real understanding of not only the craft but also the people.”

Additionally, Zoey Deutch shared: “He trusts his actors on a level that I’ve never really seen before.” And an emotional Toni Collette said: “He gets what it is to be human, he captures it, he heightens it, and he makes people feel and think. He’s so special.”

Juror No 2 hits UK cinemas on Friday.
