The cardigan comes in sizes XS to XL and a range of colours at different prices, but the Ecru Marl, Fruit style is the cheapest option. The bestseller is crafted from a premium blend of responsibly sourced wool, soft cotton and alpaca for warmth without the itch.

On the Boden website, one happy shopper said: “I bought the medium. I’m normally a size 10. (It’s) roomy enough for layers underneath. Very soft and cosy. Great to be able to pick out the colours in the stripes to go with other things. This will be super useful and should last for years, like my other Boden cardigans. Very pleased!”
Another wrote: “Perfect fit. I bought a large size, I am a 16-18 in Boden clothes depending on the item.
