Disney+ viewers will be excited to learn that a new thriller has dropped on Disney+ and it has a near-perfect score of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes. Predator: Killer of Killers is an American adult animated sci-fi film co-directed by Dan Trachtenberg and Joshua Wassung and written by Micho Robert Rutare. Released this year, it is the sixth film and eighth installment overall in the Predator franchise.

The film’s synopsis reads: “The anthology story follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge, a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession, and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause. But while all these warriors are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent – the ultimate killer of killers.”

Michael Biehn, Lindsay LaVanchy, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Felix Solis and Damien Haas are part of the voice cast.

The film has garnered a positive response with Rotten Tomatoes critics ranking it at an impressive 95%.

The critics’ consensus states: “Plunking the Predator into a series of inspired matchups with a striking visual palette, Killer of Killers is a lean, mean, and just plain awesome addition to the iconic sci-fi franchise.”

A top critic said: “Trachtenberg’s imagination here seems literally boundless. The Predator franchise is more than safe in his hands – it’s thriving.”

“One of the best entries in the Predator franchise. Give the keys of the whole franchise to Mr. Dan Trachtenberg – he understands what fans want,” added another.

An audience reviewer said they “absoluted loved this movie”, with another adding: “One of the best adult animations ever in my opinion. Put together very well and throughly entertaining. I’d give it five stars. Definitely worth the time.”
