Aldi customers can prepare for the cosy autumn and winter months with the retailer’s upcoming selection of kitchen appliances, featuring air fryers and soup makers. The majority of these devices are said to arrive at a much more budget-friendly cost than some of the market-leading brands.
Going on sale in stores from October 2, Aldi fans have been advised to act quickly because, as with all Specialbuys, once they are gone, they’re gone. The supermarket says its returning Soup Maker is anticipated to sell out quickly due to high demand, available for just £29.99.
A “winter essential” with a brushed stainless-steel appearance, the cooking gadget arrives fitted with a 1.6L capacity, four different blending settings, and a removable lid, reports the Daily Record. It could prove a convenient option for creating hearty, homemade soups at the press of a button.
Aldi’s Soup Maker is budget-friendly too, as, for instance, it costs just half the price of the Morphy Richards Classic Soup Maker. The leading brand is available directly from the manufacturer for £79.99, making Aldi more than £50 cheaper.
Soup is an easy dish that can be completely customised to your preferences, especially when it’s homemade. The Express has shared lots of soup recipes to try over the colder months.
If soup isn’t your preference for the chilly autumn and winter months, Aldi’s new collection features other reasonably-priced kitchen gadgets that are said to help make preparing a hot meal as “quick and hassle-free as possible”.
Simpler and more economical than switching on the oven, customers can also grab the Combi Zone Air Fryer (£59.99), which has a 9L capacity.
According to Aldi, the spacious drawer can be split into two separate compartments of varying sizes, making winter dinner parties and family get-togethers “quick, easy, and affordable.”
The retailer maintains that it’s the solution to any shopper’s culinary requirements, with a digital LED touchscreen panel with 10 preset programmes.
Aldi is also launching “stylish and durable” Cast Aluminium Pans in small (£12.99), medium (£14.99), and large (£18.99) sizes. Each features a saucepan with a lid and a frying pan and is crafted using recycled aluminium.
There’s also the Food Prep Essentials (£5.99) and a Slicing Mandolin or Food Chopper. Aldi describes both gadgets as “perfect for preparing fresh fruits or vegetables in advance for hectic weeknight meals”.
To keep fruit and vegetables organised in the fridge, there’s also the Fridge Storage with Colander (£3.99). Shoppers can prevent their bread loaves from going stale in Aldi’s new Bread Bin (£6.99).
For those constantly on the move, the Food Flask (£6.99), which includes a foldable spoon, can keep soups and hot drinks “warm all day”. The Ceramic and Silicone Travel Mug (£4.99) also offers a way to savour a hot cuppa or coffee.
