
Aldi has announced a recall of a number of its products from shelves as a precautionary measure. Aldi’s supplier has recalled 10 products, explaining that they “do not meet the required standard”.
This recall affects Scottish stores only. Customers have been urged not to consume the products and to return them to their nearest Aldi store, where they can receive a full refund. In its statement, Aldi said: “Anyone who bought these products should return them to their nearest store for a full refund. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
Aldi noted that this product recall has been put in place as a “precautionary” recall. Below you can find the full list of products affected by the recall, as well as their brands and barcode numbers.

Aldi has removed all affected products from sale in all its stores and recalled them. In its statement, it answered the question: “Was the product not properly quality checked before going on sale?”
Aldi responded: “All our products go through rigorous safety and quality checks.”
