A tool which can make hair go from wet to dry while straightening and adding volume at the same time is now reduced at Argos. The BaByliss Air Wand Hair Dryer, Straightener and Styler has gone down from £120 to £100 and has been receiving rave reviews.
Described as the ultimate multi-use hair styler, it can dry and style in one go, saving plenty of time and effort for those with busy lifestyles. Haircare fans can simply step out of the shower and use it without even having to towel dry their hair.
Its super-fast 123km/hr air speed and advanced airflow technology allow for fast drying, while the hair straightener with precision-engineered ceramic plates will smooth and straighten. A curved oval brush with detangling and polishing bristles is included and can be used to smooth and add volume.
Founded in France in 1961, BaByliss has been developing hair styling tools for more than 60 years. The hair wand has been designed so it does not lead to any heat damage to the hair, and it has four temperature settings and three speed settings.
A similar product can be found at Boots, which has the Bellissima Italia Airsleek Wet to Dry Air Straightener for £149.99. It uses ion technology and ceramic and keratin-coated plates to create soft, shiny, and frizz-free hair, and can be used when it is wet or dry, the brand says.
Or shoppers could also look to Currys, where the Remington Wet 2 Straight Pro S7970 Hair Straightener is on sale, with a big reduction, from £100 to £29.99. It is suitable for both dry and wet hair, with 10 heat settings for all kinds of hair and a high temperature of 230°C.
Lots of positive reviews have been left for the BaByliss straightener on the Argos website, however, with one customer saying: “This airbrush is amazing. It gets right down to your roots and leaves your hair feeling silky soft. It’s also easy to use, lightweight and doesn’t take ages to dry and style like a traditional hair dryer. The volume brush attachment is brilliant.”
Another said: “I bought this two weeks ago. I would not be without it now. Lightweight compared to a normal hair dryer, it does all I need – straightens with the attachment, gives volume with the other attachment, and it can be used as a hair dryer. Cut my drying time considerably.”
Another reviewer wrote: “Really happy with this product, very powerful and the hot and cold air setting is great. Reduces styling time, very impressive. I no longer spend ages styling, and I can go about my day with ease.”
However, one person did say “it’s very quick at drying hair, but it takes a while to get used to styling”. And one wrote that it was “heavier than I thought it would be”.
