M&S slashes Apothecary gift set by 40%

Marks and Spencer doesn’t run a Black Friday sale in the traditional sense, but they do host their own November sale with discounts on everything from fashion to homeware. Right now, though, some of the very best savings are on beauty, including makeup, skincare and even some brilliant gift bags packed with premium products from big-name brands, perfect for Christmas.

With festive gifting in mind, one sale item that’s really caught my eye is the Apothecary Sleep Gift Set. If you’re not familiar, Apothecary is Marks and Spencer’s wellbeing range, featuring body washes, hand creams, diffusers, candles and more, all made with essential oils.

There are plenty of discounts across the collection in the November sale, but the Sleep Gift Set is a standout if you’re looking for something to give someone who deserves a little TLC and relaxation. The set usually retails for £40, but it’s currently 40% off, bringing the price down to just £24.

Presented in a beautiful cream gift box with gold detailing, it’s pretty enough that you don’t even need to wrap it. Inside, there’s a scented candle, a diffuser, a pillow mist, a body butter and a silky eye mask.

The Sleep collection has a soft, floral fragrance, with notes of jasmine, mimosa, rose, peony and tuberose, among others.

Currently, the product doesn’t have any reviews yet, but based on personal experience (someone actually gifted me an Apothecary set a couple of Christmases ago), it’s a lovely option for anyone who prefers gentler, more subtle scents. And according to M&S, the set is designed to create a relaxing, calming environment — almost like bringing the spa home.

Each item comes in Apothecary’s signature brown glass packaging. The set is more about scent and atmosphere than skincare, though, so if you’re shopping for a real skincare enthusiast, another Apothecary set with more creams might be more their style.

Alternatively, M&S also has the Skincare Gift Bag, which they say contains up to £70-worth of big-name products.
