With the cold weather in full swing, many shoppers will be battling dry skin. A good moisturiser can make all the difference, and one that Joanna Lumley, 79, says helps keep wrinkles at bay is now discounted at Amazon.

The simple cream, which comes in a 500ml tub, can be used for the face or the body, day or night, to lock in moisture and keep skin hydrated.
It is formulated with Lanolin and Glycerine to create a protective barrier while hydrating the skin, keeping it smooth and soft. As an added bonus, it can also be used to remove make up with a cotton pad, making it a multi-purpose part of any skincare routine.
There are other similar products on the market, too, such as the CeraVe Moisturising Cream Pot with Hyaluronic Acid & Ceramides for Dry to Very Dry Skin which is currently £14.87 at Boots, down from £17.50. This one comes in a 454g tub and is said to be a rich cream moisturiser that helps even the driest skin regain hydration, and can be used on eczema-prone skin.
Alternatively, Holland & Barrett has the Cetaphil Moisturising Cream Body Butter 450g for £13.60 down from £17. It is formulated with Sweet Almond Oil, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5) and Vitamin E for 48-hour hydration, according to the brand, and has no added fragrance.
However, shoppers who have bought the ASTRAL Face & Body Intensive Moisturiser Cream have left glowing reviews at Amazon. One said: ” Moisturises skin well. Beautiful fresh scent. Leaves skin hydrated and supple. I’ve been using this cream for over 40 years. It has been a firm family favourite with many other family members for even longer.”
Another added: “I absolutely love this moisturiser, it’s been a staple in my family for as long as I can remember. My nan used it, then my mum and now I’ve been using it myself since I was a child. It’s truly stood the test of time.
