If frying eggs is your go-to cooking method but achieving perfection eludes you, help is at hand. There’s something truly satisfying about nailing the texture of the egg white whilst creating that ideal dome-shaped yolk that oozes beautifully when pierced.
Yet all too often, disaster strikes when the yolk bursts upon hitting the pan, leaving your breakfast presentation in tatters.
Online coach Jack Parker has revealed his technique for achieving “perfect fried eggs every time you cook them”.
Eggs are nutritional powerhouses brimming with protein, with Healthline describing them as ‘nature’s multivitamin’.
They’re crammed with vitamins, minerals, superior quality protein, beneficial fats and numerous other little-known nutrients.
Crucially, virtually all nutrients reside in the yolk, whilst the white provides protein alone.
Including eggs in your morning meal can assist with shedding body fat, as they feature minimal carbohydrates whilst delivering substantial protein and fat.
They rank exceptionally well on the satiety index, which measures how effectively foods promote feelings of fullness.
Now that their benefits are clear, here’s the method for achieving flawless-looking and delicious eggs every single time.
He explained that you’ll need “obviously your eggs,” plus a cooking fat such as grass-fed butter, olive oil or coconut oil. “Then, get your butter cooking on medium heat, while you have your eggs in a different pot ready to in [to the pan],” he advised.
The eggs were pre-cracked in a separate container, a tip that could simplify your cooking process, rather than cracking them directly into the pan.
Jack further instructed: “You’re gonna keep it on medium heat until the white forms around the yolk, then add a pan lid on top and drop the heat down to low”.
According to Jack, placing the pan lid makes all the difference in achieving “perfect,” eggs because “this is going to cook the yolk” and they’ll taste fantastic.
“Leave that for five minutes, take the egg off, and there you have some beautiful, perfect, fried eggs,” Jack concluded.
In the comments section, one user queried: “Future me, did this work?”
Another responded with a question about whether they’d tried the hack of pre-cracking the eggs and placing the pan lid over them to cook.
“I forgot to say the results, but yeah, they’re good, and they look perfect,” they praised the method.
“Very useful I’ve been cooking them and they haven’t been great I’m gonna copy this,” another TikTok user wrote.
